This drill plan isdesigned to both 'twin' and validate the discovery hole drilled in 1994identifying the 62 foot (18 meter) coal zone, including the 25 foot (7meter) continuous coal seam at 156 to 181 feet (48 to 55 meters); whilealso serving to locate direction and limits of the coal seam as a means tobetter optimize and finalize a design and drill plan for a second phase. The drilling process will consist of rotary hammer drilling down toimmediately above the coal where then "split tube coring (HQ size)"through the coal seam maximizes recovery of the cored coal for latersampling and testing. Additionally, bore hole logging will be employed oneach hole to provide Gamma, Neutron, and Density data to compliment andco-relate to the core logs. This drilling method is significantly faster than conventional diamonddrilling with the Company expecting completion of the program, includingmobilization and de-mobilization, within a 2 to 3 week time frame.Should the first phase drilling prove positive, the Company would look topropose and carry out a second phase of exploration with the intent ofoutlining potential coal resources within the property.Weststar President, Mitchell Adam, commented, "We are very keen to havethe commitment from our drilling contractor to deploy equipment and crewas soon as permitting and necessary engagements are in place. A programcarried out during winter freeze allows for minimum impact while enhancingthe Company's ability to test the extent, trend, and quality of coal onthis prospect. Should this seam be found in any adjacent or step-outholes, the Company can also begin building a measured, indicated andinferred coal resource in accordance with NI 43-101 standards."The acquisition of the Tobin Lake 18 Meter Coal property is subject to TSXVenture Exchange approval. The Company has filed a submission with the TSXVenture Exchange to seek such acceptance. On Behalf of the Board,Mitchell Adam, President, Weststar Resources Corp. The TSX Venture Exchange has not reviewed and does not acceptresponsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of the content of this NewsRelease.
